Role Overview

We are looking for a Technical Specialist DBMS with Red Hat Enterprise Linux experience.

Position Requirements

  • Design, configure and support database applications
  • Understanding of structured query language (SQL)
  • Knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS), object oriented database management systems (OODBMS) and XML database management systems
  • Experience with their database software/web applications
  • Assisting in database design
  • Monitoring database efficiency
  • Sustaining the security and integrity of data
  • Creating complex query definitions that allow data to be extracted
  • Troubleshoot database-related issues
  • Undertake performance tuning
  • Python and/or Unix Scripting skills
  • Virtualization & Consolidation
  • RHEL including Red Hat High Availability, Red Hat Cluster Suite

Other skills and knowledge

  • Strong analytical and organisational skills
  • Eye for detail and accuracy
  • The ability to work quickly, under pressure and to deadlines
  • Customer oriented attitude and good interpersonal skills


  • Mongo DB experience would be desirable
  • Kubernetes
